Getting Started Is Simple. Your Care Is Personal.

Therapy for teens and families starts with understanding—not judgment.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming. We make the process simple, convenient, and personal so you know what to expect from the beginning.

Whether your teen needs individual therapy, family support, or a therapeutic group, we begin by getting to know your family, understanding your concerns, and identifying the support that makes the most sense.

Your First 3 Steps

Start by requesting an appointment online. Our technology makes it easy to find a time that works for your family and begin the process without unnecessary back-and-forth.

During the scheduling process you will be prompted to complete a parent screening form. This is based on what you know and observe, you do not need to ask your teen the questions as they will complete a form in person. This gives us an initial understanding of what your teen and family are experiencing and what you hope to accomplish through therapy.

You and your teen will meet with Kasandra, LCSW-C, through telehealth for either:

  • A 15-minute consultation to discuss your concerns, ask questions, and determine next steps, or

  • A 60-minute intake appointment to complete a more in-depth initial assessment.

After the intake process, we can begin developing a treatment plan based on your teen's needs.

What Happens Next?

Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. After the initial process, we will work together to determine whether your teen would benefit from.

Your treatment plan may include one service or a combination of services as your family's needs change.

Individual Therapy

One-on-one support focused on your teen's specific needs, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and goals.

Family Sessions

Support for families who want to improve communication, understand each other, and develop practical tools for navigating challenges together.

Therapeutic Groups

Structured, supportive groups where teens can practice skills, connect with peers, and work through specific challenges with others who may have similar experiences.

Kasandra Marbury, LCSW-C

Owner

Kasandra, LCSW-C, uses a family-centered approach to help teens and parents develop skills they can actually use at home. The goal is to learn how to understand each other, communicate more effectively, manage strong emotions, and respond differently when things get difficult.

Kasandra incorporates evidence-based approaches including:

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

  • DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)

  • Mindfulness

  • IFS (Internal Family Systems)

Therapy isn't just about talking about what happened. Teens are encouraged to practice the skills they learn outside of sessions through real-life application and therapeutic homework.

Parents are also given tools they can use at home to reinforce the skills their teen is learning in therapy.

We believe therapy works best when teens and parents have tools they can use together. Parents can learn how to support emotional regulation without needing to have all the answers. Teens can learn how to recognize their emotions, communicate their needs, make healthier choices, and manage difficult situation

Personalized support. Practical tools. A plan that fits your family.
